A Welcoming Home With Red Candy

I was sent this item from Red Candy for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Red Candy are one of my favourite brands – they offer such a unique range of homeware items. We’ve previously reviewed a number of items from the brand (click the below links to be directed to each of our reviews!)

We always find a wide variety of items we like on the site and I’m always showing Steve new things I want to get for the home. They’ve actually got a fab brand new range of doormats so I had the chance to choose one myself from the range.

There were so many to choose from but I eventually opted for – with coercion from the kids – the tiger doormat. We used to have a doormat at the front door but it was one that was here when we moved in and a few years ago, I decided to get rid of it as we moved in seven and a half years ago and it had certainly seen better days! We’ve been without one since but I definitely find doormats to be very welcoming. Whilst I was tempted to opt for one with writing such as hello/goodbye or no riff raff, I just had to go for the tiger – after all, it is my favourite animal!

Now I must admit it isn’t every day you find a tiger greeting you at the door of your family member or friends house but we’ve had plenty of comment about the doormat, particularly how cool it is!

Retailing at £24.50, this doormat looks exactly like you’d expect a tiger doormat to look like. Olivia has had great fun running to the front door and growling at it like a tiger, she’s definitely convinced by it. The cut and design quality is great and what you’d expect from a doormat.

It is very hard wearing – it has already endured many different types of weather and various people traipsing all manners of stuff on it. Made from all natural coir, it is orange and black in colour (just like a tiger, of course) and is the perfect size for fitting right by our front door.

It can pick up hair and fluff quite easily – like above as I wanted to show you – but is easily brushed down outside to look as good as new. As I mentioned above, this is particularly hard wearing as it has already been put through the motions by my very active family and friends!

This tiger doormat makes the perfect unique welcome by my front door – do you have a doormat by your front door? Which one of the Red Candy range would you choose?

  1. I have this exact same one and I can’t wait to properly use it when we move. That’s so cute that Olivia growls when she gets to the front door x
