I picked up this product from the 99p Shop not too long ago after seeing it pop up on a few other blogs. I knew that obviously there wasn’t snake venom in the product; in fact they use something that provokes a similar reaction to what snake venom would do which apparently really helps your skin!
Oil and paraben free, this was a big plus point for me and I couldn’t wait to get this home to try it. I quickly took photos of it like a good blogger and then waited until the evening when I was doing my nightly skincare routine. This definitely works like I would imagine snake venom would. My skin felt tingly and pin pricked and at first I thought perhaps I was having a reaction! I quickly googled this scrub and found that it was actually meant to do that, which is where I can imagine the venom comparison is drawn. After removing, my skin felt really soft and clean – it really felt as if the scrub had done its work! I have used this weekly since and it always leaves my skin feeling great!
Although I like it, I’m not too sure if I would repurchase – I have a few facial scrubs that are just as good in my collection and I must admit, although this works – I don’t find the tingliness very pleasant. I’ve also just purchased my first ever Origins products which included Modern Friction so I am looking forward to giving that a try instead.

Bargain!!! Whoop. I know quite a few snake venom products don't contain the venom it's just a ingredient that acts quite similar to the venom, to smoothing out lines and whatever. Great review xo
