Degustabox March 2016 | Review

We always love receiving our monthly Degustabox and I was especially excited about this one, having had a sneak peek at the items involved. I would call this the perfect mix – this has some fabulously naughty products and some healthier options too! So what did we receive this month?

review

There was a great selection of products this month, totalling over £20. This is brilliant when you pay just £12.99 for the boxes contents and delivery – and even less if you use the code BLDEG15 to get your first box for just £6.99! So what did we get?

Kallo Milk Chocolate Rice Cake Rounds – £1

I wouldn’t normally consider myself a fan of rice cakes but chocolate covered rice cakes? Somehow they are just better. These were delicious and so moreish, I would definitely buy them again!

Kallo Quinoa and Seeds Multigrain Cakes – £1.89

I am yet to try these, I am not too sure if they are my sort of thing.

degustabox

Pipers Crisps (Lye Cross Cheddar & Onion flavour) – £2

I don’t really eat crisps anymore so they are a very special treat and what a treat these were. They were so full of flavour with a satisfying crunch, so good!

Metcalfe’s Skinny Popcorn (Cinema Sweet flavour) – £1.50

Popcorn is also a special treat and these were yummy in front of the TV one evening. Very sweet even for the skinny, less sugar pack!

degustabox

Chewits – 35p each

Not much to say about these – we all know what they are, we’ve all tasted them before and with Steve and Jack in the house, these didn’t last long.

Lindt Gold Bunny – £2.99

My favourite treat at Easter, I was so happy to see this 100g bunny in the box. We are yet to eat him as we want to share him out equally – I’m so tempted though!

degustabox

Parle Monaco – 39p

These are delicious cracker style biscuits, ever so moreish and really tasty! We really enjoyed them!

Parle Hide & Seek – 59p

Stop the press. I think I may have just found my favourite biscuit. These are claimed as India’s best moulded chocolate chip biscuits and they aren’t wrong…these are amazing and mouthwatering!

Brioche Pasquier Pains au Chocolat – £1.40

What’s not to love about pains au chocolat? These didn’t last long in our house, we really enjoyed them!

degustabox

Karyatis Meze To Go Mediterranean Red Pepper & Feta Dip with Rosemary Crackers – £1.99

I wasn’t sold on this, to be quite honest. I really liked the dip, the flavours were great but I found the rosemary crackers a little dull and dry!

Kent’s Kitchen Apricot Apple & Ginger Stuffing – £1.85

We haven’t gotten around to using this yet but are planning to use it with our next roast (the pot serves four people) – I am so excited to try it!

degustabox

Finally we have…

Weetabix On The Go – £1.50 each

We’ve tried these breakfast drinks before and they do as they say – they fit your routine whilst being super tasty! These are very handy for those mornings when you’re rushing out and don’t have time to make breakfast.

A2 Milk – £1.39

This was the Db’s Discoveries pick this month and I’ve heard a lot about this. We have been using this with our breakfast and really enjoyed it.

What was your favourite item of the Degustabox this month?

  1. I love the look of these food boxes, it’s nice to get bits which you wouldn’t normally think to buy and try. For just 6.99 for the first box I think I might need to order one x
