Degustabox Jan 2016

I recently received my January 2016 Degustabox – what did I think? Here is what we had in the box this month. Not included in the pictures is the Conscious Organic Chocolate bar which was super yummy!degustabox 1

Amoy Taste of Asia cooking sauces (£1.79 each)

I haven’t used these yet but we really love Amoy cooking sauces and always have some in the cupboard. These will definitely be getting used in due course.

Jordans Fruit & Nut Country Crisp (£2.69)

We love Jordans cereal so I was really pleased to see this in the box. This box didn’t last very long at all, it was devoured so quickly!

Yushoi Snapea Rice Sticks in Sweet Chilli & Lemon (£2)

I’ve mentioned before that we really like the Yushoi rice sticks, they are a very tasty snack and I was really happy to see them included in this months box.

Finn Crisp Original Crispbread (£1.20)

Not impressed when it comes to this product – I am sure it has been in the box MULTIPLE times and whilst I always make an effort to eat them, I really don’t like them very much. Sorry.

Coldpress Golden Delicious Apple Juice (£1.40)

We love apple juice in this household so this was always going to go down a treat. Jack claimed this pretty quickly!

Tsingtao Beer (£2)

Steve is yet to try this but we have heard good things about it and it is such a fab price too!

DB’s Discoveries Fruit Bowl Blackcurrant Flakes

These were Jack’s favourite item in the box and we will definitely be purchasing these again. He really enjoyed them and I tried some too, delicious.

Clarks Carob Fruit Syrup (£2.39)

Funnily enough Steve and I had been looking for a good fruit syrup when the Degustabox arrived. We have used this a handful of times so far in our baking and hot drinks and it is really nice.

Slim Noodles (£2.49)

I haven’t yet used these, I’ve put them in the larder cupboard for when I may need them but they seem like an interesting and useful product to have.

So is Degustabox worth the money? I still think it is (definitely getting your moneys worth when in the supermarkets these would cost almost double the price of the box at £12.99, even more if you use the discount code BLDEG15 to get the box for just £6.99. My only gripe is the repetition I am starting to see with some of the products – and it is usually the products my household don’t like.

Do you get a Degustabox? What do you think?
