I don’t know about you but I love personalised gifts, especially when they are useful. I was recently contacted by Personalised Gifts Market and was asked if I’d like to review an item. I had to say yes – and what is even more wonderful is the fact that they wanted to run a giveaway too so you can win one of these yourself!
So what did we choose? Well, it was Steve’s birthday back in February but with a pending house move and plans to go away in the Easter holidays, we didn’t get much or do much for it. However with our short break plans being scuppered by the current pandemic, I was feeling a little sorry for him and thought a personalised gift would cheer him up. Jack and I opted for this personalised heart shaped slate board, perfect for a cheese lover like Steve.
Retailing at £19.99, it is a really affordable and lovely personalised gift and can be personalised easily to suit the person you are gifting it to. It already had the words ‘AGE doesn’t matter unless you’re a CHEESE’. We chose to have the words ‘Happy Birthday! To Daddy, love Jack and Olivia xxx‘.
The board is a natural slate board and is quite large in size. It is versatile enough to go into a chiller cabinet and is perfect for using it as a cheese board. It is food safe and washable and is a real talking point in the home. As we tend to eat a lot of cheese, this will get a lot of use in our house!
The writing is really impactful – it certainly captures your attention! I love the two different fonts, one for the quote and one for the personalised message.
Jack was really chuffed with it and couldn’t wait to give it to his Daddy – although I am pretty sure that he will be using it as well, the cheese and fruit lover that he is!
I can’t wait to get this out when we are finally allowed to have friend and family back round! I’m sure they’ll love it just as much as we do.
