Today is the 1st of December which marks day 1 of my collaborative advent giveaways with the lovely Sarah from Life In A BreakDown. We’ve been very good pals now for pretty much our whole blogging journey and we wanted to team together to thank you, our readers, with some amazing advent giveaways for you to win.

The first prize we have for you lovely people is one of these gorgeous reed diffusers from Amy Victoria. After over a year of planning, they finally launched their natural reed diffuser business in November and asked if I would also like to review one whilst also offering one to our readers!

Amy Victoria reed diffusers are different in that their products are fragranced using only essential oils and all of their diffusers are blended, poured and packaged by hand in Canterbury, England – so you can be sure you are supporting a fully fledged British business when buying from them. They currently have four fragrances which are Lavender & Rosewood; Orange, Cinnamon & Frankincense; Lemongrass & Black Pepper; and Ylang Ylang, Patchouli & Bergamot. I opted for the Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Bergamot  – so what were my thoughts?

You all know how much I love to fragrance a room – I talk about it often enough, right – and love anything from scented candles to sprays to reed diffusers. I’m often giving reed diffusers as gifts so it was nice to be able to keep one for myself. The packaging is simple and understated and that’s what I like to see- it tells you all about the product without taking away from the product itself. Sometimes packaging can be too in your face which I hate so I am glad to see that Amy Victoria have totally got it right with theirs.

In regards to the scent and how the reed diffuser is, wow oh wow. I opted for Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Bergamot as something different from the normal scents I go for and boy, does this work for me! I have the diffuser placed close to my desk in my dining room which is open plan and connects to the living room. I opted to put all of the reeds in to intensify the scent due to the room being open plan and within seconds of placing the reeds in, I could smell the intense aromas of the three ingredients. The scent is extremely strong but not overpowering and it is perfect to have in my home office as it really keeps me focused and on the ball – I’ve never felt more awake when doing work!

I’ve already recommended the brand to my friends and family – and will definitely be grabbing some for my mother in law for Mothers Day next year once she’s worked through her others – plus I think I may just have to grab the Orange, Cinnamon & Frankincense for this festive period, right? At £24.95 each available from the website, these are a gorgeous gift this festive season and I will be jealous of you if you receive one.

But one of you lucky readers could win one! For your chance to win one in the scent of your choice from the available scents, just fill in the Rafflecopter below. This giveaway is UK only and ends at 11.59pm on the 6th of December. Good luck!
