I’ve been seeing a few of these posts lately and I thought it was a cool idea to talk about what TV shows and films we have been watching lately. How about you?
On Virgin
We have the largest subscription for Virgin which includes sports and movies. We are planning on getting rid of both of those and subscribing to Disney+ when it arrives in the UK as the main bulk of the movies we watch do happen to be Disney!
We’ve been watching Not Going Out from the beginning on Gold – we love the show but had both missed episodes in the earlier series so thought we’d start it all over again. I’m also working my way through the Midsomer Murders episodes they show on ITV3 – I thought I had seen them all but have actually recently seen a couple that I had never seen before.
Our box is filling up with stuff we do need to catch up on – I’ve got quite a few shows where I’ve got all the episodes to watch to catch up such as Elementary, Grantchester and Jamestown. Hoping to dive in soon!
On Netflix
On Steve’s profile, we have been watching Grimm from the beginning and have just finished season 2. We’ve also been watching The Big Bang Theory from the beginning and we are currently on season 6! Steve is working his way through Black Lightning and I, as usual, on my profile have been watching old Jonathan Creek episodes, Cold Case Files and recently finished Women Behind Bars. As you can see, the kids have been using my profile as well even though they have their own set up!
On Amazon
We recently started Good Omens but still need to finish this off. I also watched the entire final season of New Girl as I missed it when it aired on E4. There’s quite a few other shows I am hoping to check out though.
What have you been watching lately? Anything you’d recommend?
Oooo Grimm is amazing and I will tell you it just gets better and better so I would keep watching.
Vampire diaries and reign are really good to watch. They’re both on Netflix
I need to finish watching Sherlock, that’s my pre-Christmas plan. Other than Ru Paul each week on the BBC I’ve not been watching too much as I’ve just not been around enough x
I used to watch Grimm a while back and quite enjoyed it. I think my recordings went funny and don’t remember which series I was up to. Need to go back and try watching it again x
I’ve been catching up The Crown ahead of the new series starting this weekend, it will be interesting to see how the new cast take the story further
I loved Grimm! We’ve also been watching Good Omens and American Gods … although American Gods gets a little confusing in the second season.

I’ve just got back into Grimm – love it!!! The omen I’ve been meaning to start watching . I’m all ready obsessed with Christmas movies , shoot me I know , it’s to early 🙂
My Mum and myself have been ‘sickened ‘ by Christmas films. A couple of years ago Film 24 started Christmas films:- Constantly from October / November time. Now we have Channel 5 showing Christmas films. Too, too much. ” Variety is the Spice of Life “.
I used to love watching Jonathan Creek! I’ve not been watching much recently although I’ve watched some undercover boss and Gordon’s kitchen nightmares

I got rid of my Virgin subscription and went with NowTV and I love it, I am also catching up on some Midsummer Murders that it seems I missed.
I haven’t binge watched for ages, life is busy at the moment and anything that is on is just mumbling in the background, and then by the time it gets to that time of night to just relax I end up snoring on my husbands shoulder!
We watched Mindhunter a month or two ago. Was reaslly good. Are you going to subscribe to the new Disney channel?
We watched Doc Martin. Over too soon. Hoping for more series’s soon, Please!
