With the sun blaring down these past few days, I have been putting more thought into my makeup and wardrobe for Summer. I need to update both dramatically – I’ve changed a lot since last summer – so here are my top summer beauty picks that I will be heading to the shop for.
First things first, I need to make sure I have a decent sun block. I’m currently trialling one from Delph so I’m hoping its the one for me – sun cream can be so expensive.
I’ve recently run out of a few makeup items so foundation would be the next thing I would pick up. I need to find something with decent coverage and I am currently considering the Estee Lauder Double Wear or one of the NARS foundations as I always hear people rave about them! I am also on the lookout for my Summer 2016 lipstick and I really want to update my eyeshadows too – all of my palettes are very old now!
One of my favourite items for summer is a facial spray – I completely adore the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and really need to pick one up! It is one of my go to summer items as is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask and my Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel – products I will constantly repurchase!
I’m in the middle of a decluttering phase and I am throwing out any old stuff and trying to use up other items I have so expect a massive empties post soon! I’m going to need a big shopping trip to replace everything and my shopping list is getting big already. What beauty items are you picking up this summer?
