We love playing outside in the garden – in fact, I have often talked about the benefits of outdoor play for children. So when offered a Stomp Rocket to review, we couldn’t wait to get outside and have fun with it!
Stomp Rocket have been entertaining kids around the world for over 25 years. It is a family owned brand, founded in 1993 in Minden, Nevada. It is now a thriving company that has sold over 7 million toys in the US and internationally. It has won numerous awards and it is easy to see why. It is a simple concept, it is affordable and it is so much fun.
We were sent the high performance rocket which is for ages 6+. Available here for £12.99 {affiliate link}, the Stomp Rocket is 100% kid powered. All you need to do is run, jump and stomp and this launches the rockets up to 400 feet in the air!
The box contains a Stomp Launcher plus 3 Super High Performance Rockets. It is really quick and easy to assemble and requires no batteries.
Please ignore the state of my garden – it definitely needs some TLC now the warmer weather is here! The kids helped me put it together really easily – it was so simple to do. All you needed to was attach the stomp pad to the stand, place the inner tube in and then the rockets on top and we were ready!
The kids had lots of fun playing with it and really got some height on their stomps – Olivia actually lost one in next doors garden, whoops – a rescue mission is required! Jack gave a bigger stomp than Olivia but didn’t get as much height or direction as his sister did!
As you can see, the Stomp Rocket really is a lot of fun and provides hours of entertainment for the whole family. I can definitely see us getting a lot of use out of this during the summer and the kids are always asking to get it out and play with it.
We just have to avoid playing with it around Buddy as he keeps trying to chase the rockets – despite them going so high in the air!

This looks awesome! I’ve seen these before but never had a try, I can see how it could all become quite competitive! I’m not so sure on the kid powered though… I’m sure adults would want to have a try too! 🙂 Sim x
