We were sent this set for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
We recently got sent some items from the B Friends range from Addo Play which Olivia really loved. Jack also received some items, this fantastic Sandsational Castle Kingdom set and a selection of sands, all available from The Entertainer from the Addo brand. We couldn’t wait to get started, testing them out.
Suitable for ages three and over, the Sandsational Castle Kingdom retails at £25. We also received six sands in various colours – some glittery too!
The set comes with a kilo of sand (700g of regular sand and 300g of glitter sand). It also contains a large play tray and five cutting/rolling tools plus sixteen castle moulds. Apparently the sand never dries out so we thought we’d find out if that was true – and it is!
The tray is there to stop mess but we also put down a plastic sheet just for extra protection against mess. After all, sand can be quite messy, right?
This kinetic sand is perfect for sculpting and making different designs. You can use the tools to cut and create and use the moulds to make different shapes. Jack really enjoyed mixing up the different sands and designing different shapes – he made a large castle at one point.
Jack loves being creative and this set really helps build on his creativity. He’s always been into crafting things, constructing things and he had a lot of fun putting together the sand in this set to make his sculptures.
Jack has been really enjoying this set and trying out all the different sands – there’s something about using different colours and textures – glitter – that is so much fun.
Overall, we are very happy with the Sandsational products and think they make a wonderful gift for the creative mind. Olivia is a little too young to use it as yet but we hope to introduce her to it in the next few months once she has turned three.
These are great products to help children build on their creative and fine motor skills and enable them to try out different textures whilst constructing their sculptures. We’re definitely considering getting more sets from the range – I might even get Jack a couple for his birthday or Christmas presents – and I can’t wait to see Olivia getting to enjoy the sets and the sand too. Such wonderful colours and wonderful textures.
Have you ever tried any Sandsational products?

My nephew has this and it is hours of fun. Just need to always make sure there is a mat. Love the coloured one
I love this, brings back memories of when we used to play in the sand when we were young with our fake sandcastles.
Never heard of Sandsational products before but they look awesome. Love that they come in different colours. My kids will love this will have to get a set for Christmas.
I love making sand sculptors! This look a super easy way of being able to create one when not at the beach!

This looks like so much fun and a great way to spark kids imaginations! I will add it to my Christmas list!
Sand that you can play with indoors is such a great idea, and Ilove that the sets come with loads of moulds so you can build areas to play with your others toys with too. Mich x
We love play and building sand and could spend ages making structures with the moulds! Looks a great set!
