I love supporting local businesses so when contacted by Pertz who are fairly local to me, I was excited to review their shapewear leggings. Claiming to give you amazing shape, inner confidence and a feel good factor that will last for as long as you wear them, I couldn’t resist.
I’ve made no secret that I’m not exactly happy with my size and I have taken steps towards amending that. However the steps I’ve taken haven’t really worked well so far so whilst I’m still on my journey, I want to wear clothes that give me some confidence and cover up my lumps and bumps.
Enter Pertz. I want to feel comfortable but confident in the clothes I am wearing so with those claims, I had to give them a try. I gave them my size and waited for them to arrive.
I must admit that I have a little bit of a wobble when they first arrived as I couldn’t quite get them on, despite them being my size. Shapewear is obviously meant to pull in and hide your lumps and bumps and I couldn’t quite manage them on. I obviously must have been having a bloated day because I tried them on two days later and they fit like a glove.
Made of quality Italian stretch fabric, these leggings claim to ‘fit like a second skin’ and retain shape time and time again. These definitely do retain shape, even after washing. I’ve worn them multiple times now, washed them multiple times and they still look and feel exactly as they did at the beginning.
I’m trying to do more this year – see my friends more, go out on more date nights with Steve – and I need something that can leave me feeling confident but comfortable. These certainly do the trick and I will certainly be buying more should the need arise.

Wish I had the budget to invest in some higher quality leggings like these, I always get cheap ones which bobble and stretch out of shape… That said I've not worn them for a while because our room is such a mess that i can't get to my dresses in the wardrobe haha!
