Are you already finding the Easter holidays a chore with the kids complaining they are bored? I am! That’s why we decided to have an Easter hunt, namely a #NumNomsEaster hunt with some fab Num Noms and some chocolate eggs of course!
We were sent a Num Noms box with some fabulous Num Noms inside, an Easter hunt sheet, instructions and some fantastic crafting goodies.
This was a great way to keep the kids occupied – I did it more than a few times before letting Jack open the Num Noms he found – I did let him eat the chocolate eggs he found along the way though – but not too many, as I had Instant Pot Chicken Thighs (via Recipes From A Pantry) planned for tea and I didn’t want him too full! You try telling a six year old to stop eating chocolate though, haha!
I did finally realise there is only so many hiding places you can utilise in one house so eventually Jack finally settled down to do some crafting – I didn’t dare let Olivia as I’d have ended up with glitter everywhere – and Jack made some fab items for the whole family. He created some beautiful Easter bunting – theming some as Easter and some in the favourite colours of members of our family – my mum got her bunting egg in Norwich City FC colours which she was chuffed about. We decorated the house with the bunting and he also decorated some eggs in a basket beautifully too. He never used to have the patience for crafting but he is so much more willing now.
We also opened our Num Noms mystery packs and the big box to see what Num Noms we had got. Once again, Jack was absolutely chuffed with what he received and set about trying to make me over with the nail polish and lip gloss!
