You know me, very loyal to my Herbal Essences products and unlikely to try out anything new. Well, for some reason, a few months ago I thought I would try out a few of the shampoos/conditioners on the market that people had been raving about. Add in to the equation samples that people were giving to me and you can imagine the hair product situation I now have on my hands – I have tons!
I’m almost three quarters of the way through these now (I took these pictures a while ago) and whilst these lather up nicely and do leave my hair fresh and clean, I’m afraid I don’t really see any of the benefits these are meant to have. I love the fact that they’re sulphate and silicone free – but 48 hour frizz control? Nope. I don’t suffer too badly with frizz but when I do, boy do I know about it. These kept the frizz at bay for about an hour, maybe less – and I wasn’t even doing anything except chilling out.
For a shampoo and conditioner that leaves your hair looking and feeling fresh and clean, these are perfect. As for the claims on the packaging? Maybe not so much.
What are your thoughts on the L’Oreal Eversleek range?

I've not tried these yet, I don't really get frizzy hair much though so I think maybe they'll be just like any other shampoo and conditioner? Maybe give them a shot and see! Nice post 🙂

Thank you x
I think the EverPure line is a bit overrated (and overpriced) so I haven't tried this product. I doubt I will now, based on your review, so thanks!
You're welcome x
I never really get frizzy hair but can hardly ever find a shampoo that gives me that 'clean' feeling so may give these a try, thanks hun x
No problem x
I'm not totally familiar with this range but I may give it a go if I spy them on offer! xxx
Cool, let me know how you get on x
They sound rubbish! I shall stick to my Apple or pomegranate Alberto Balsam. Smell divine, make my hair super glossy and cost a pound!!
I need to try some Alberto Balsam!
I tried some samples of the purple everpure which I liked xx
Ooh, I'll have to give those a try x
Hey, it's a shame you didn't like it so much as I'm on my second bottles now. When I emigrated to the States I wanted to find something that would stop my hair from going haywire in humidity. Although I don't live in the south, I do have big curly hair and in 90 degree heat with mid to high humidity Eversleek did its job for me.
Glad it worked for you 🙂 That's the beauty of products though, one thing will work for someone and not the other x
