Look Beauty Pout Butter in Prettifying Pink

I’m a sucker for a good lip balm and have plenty in my collection, although I am loathe to step away from my holy grail Elizabeth Arden balm if I can help it. Although called a Pout Butter, this product is essentially a tinted lip balm and is said to be perfect for use after the Look Beauty Lip Smoothie (review here).

I have seen positive review after positive review on these little pots and whilst they leave a nice tint to the lips which is perfect for a day when you want to go a little more au naturel with your makeup, I have to admit that I am not their biggest fan *shock horror*

Whilst these are very soft and buttery to apply and said application is very easy, I think my years of using my holy grail lip balm (the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream lip protectant) has me leaning towards a less buttery finish. Whilst I cannot deny that this product is moisturising and great to apply – it is definitely a great product – I don’t find myself reaching for it at all when it comes to taking care of my lips.

Do you ever feel like this about a product? You know that its good but just don’t ever find yourself using it?

  1. Oh always! I have this Shiseido bronzer that so many people have raved about. And I know it's nice, I can see it. But I just don't bother putting it on 😛
