I’m constantly looking for comfortable clothing in all situations. I love a good old maxi dress in the summer, jeans and a snuggly top in the winter. I like to feel comfortable when doing exercise, when working, when doing other activities. But it can be really hard to find the right clothes that not only fit right but are comfortable at the same time.
Finding the same for the children can be difficult – Olivia is obviously still a baby so she is very limited to what she can wear – bodysuits, babygros, tights, tops and dresses – and sometimes I am not quite sure how comfortable she is. Jack, however, can wear a variety of things and this is so important when you consider the amount of different activities he participates in.
He’s currently looking into joining a few different clubs – he is on the waiting list for Beavers, is asking if he can join tennis club in the morning and has shown an interest in some other clubs at his school and in our local area. Obviously he would not be able to attend every single club but it is so important that we have a variety of functional and comfortable clothing for any activities he might decide to participate in.
I usually head to the high street to pick up such clothes – choosing affordable stores such as Primark or Pep & Co – but I have noticed I am increasingly heading online to online stores such as Amazon and Engelbert Strauss, a brand that specialise in workwear and outdoor clothing who also have a great kids range of outdoor clothing too. It is so handy when you can kit out the entire household in one go. I also have been checking out independent children’s clothing stores such as Lamb & Bear or Apples & Pips to look for these comfortable and functional clothes. These stores specialise in baby, toddler and children’s clothing – comfortable and good quality pieces for affordable prices. Exactly the type of items I am looking for.
Jack is so into his outdoor activities now and with him growing up day by day, he is becoming increasingly interested in doing more and more. Whether that is mud play at the park, tennis at the school or running or football, he loves nothing more than being outside and getting active. I need to make sure his wardrobe is completely suitable for any occasion. Do you have any suggestions of good places to purchase such items?
