I have a wonderful guest review today from one of my best friends Helen and her experiences with Neuner’s Organic Nursing Tea, enjoy!

on Unevenlemming Beauty, but since the birth of my first child, Bethany, I have
become more interested in what I can use to make Bethany’s and my life a little
easier. When Beth was first born she was not interested in breastfeeding, we
had been rushed in for an emergency forceps delivery after a long labour and
she turned to the right so making it impossible to push her out without help.
Also it had been 36 hours after my waters broke and it came about that she was
fighting an infection which she had IV antibiotics for two days, so not the
easiest of starts.
amounts of milk from me, while using formula as her main feed. I was determined
to breastfeed as I felt it was the right thing to do for my child, but
disappointed that I couldn’t fully do this. This was the point my friend, Bex
asked if I wanted to try a nursing tea to help as I am an avid tea drinker.
seeds, caraway and aniseed that you brew for 5-7 minutes in just boiled water.
I brewed mine for the 5 minutes to give a lighter taste as I don’t add milk to
my tea so prefer my normal tea this way. You do get a scent of the aniseed
which some people can find off putting, like my husband who likes stronger
milky tea so this was for his liking. The flavour is warming and comforting,
which I found better as a pre-bed drink because it is also caffeine free.
After a day of drinking this I did find that I
had an increase in milk production as I was starting to leak for the first
time! The better benefit for me was the fact it also soothed and calmed, which
is particularly useful when Beth is screaming and you’re getting stressed. It
is not the cheapest I’ve come across (20 teabags is £4.49, which is 22p a bag), but for the quality and flavour it is worth that extra spend.
You can purchase Neuner’s Organic Nursing Tea from the neuners.co.uk website, Amazon or any independent health food shop across the United Kingdom.

Thank you again Bex (ironically having it now as my pre-bed drink!)
no problem 🙂
