Jack loves a good board game. So much so that he even joined a board game club after school! We were recently sent Googly Eyes, available from University Games.

The game is a hilarious drawing game that challenges your vision and leaves you googling for more! You need to pop on the vision altering glasses (the three different coloured lenses have different levels of vision altering). For ages 7 and up and for 4 players, you take turns drawing, guessing and wearing the glasses. It sure makes for a fun challenge.

So what did we think?

Well Jack, Steve, my Mum and I played with Olivia joining in on the fun! You have three different coloured lenses, three different time levels – the least vision altering lenses (blue) are 15 seconds, the next is 30 seconds and the last is 45 seconds!

Some of the things to draw are fairly simple – like the shark above or a pizzeria but some are really difficult and you really do need the time to draw them, especially when your vision is altered in such a way!

If you love a board game, then this is a game that I am sure the whole family will enjoy. With Jack being 6, he is a little younger than the age specified for the game and he did find the instructions a little hard to grasp at the beginning but he soon got into the swing of things and really enjoyed it.

We’ve played it a few times now and it is amazing how difficult it can be to guess things even when they seem so simple – it is also incredible just how much your vision can be distorted and affect how you draw!

Available here from Amazon from £10.99 {affiliate link}, this is definitely a great addition to any families board game collection. Do you own it?
