G Baldwin & Co Pomegranate, Bilberry & Rose Soothing Eye Cream

Eye cream is something that I didn’t always incorporate into my skincare routine. I just cleansed, toned and moisturised and that was it. However, after a telling off by my skincare obsessed aunt and some suggestions made by other bloggers, I finally started using it and found myself at a loose end a little while back when coming to the end of my beloved Balance Me cream.

It seems there was someone listening to me as my prayers were answered when I received an email asking if I’d like to review a product from the Baldwins website. With mine about to run dry, I saw this on the site and decided it had to be mine. Baldwins have been purveyors of natural products since 1844 and this eye cream contains not only the main ingredients of pomegranate, bilberry and rose but also arnica oil, melon seed and borage. As you can imagine, the rose is the scent that really stands out but it isn’t overpowering as most rose scents can be.

The product comes in a small 15ml pot and retails at £8.19 which is a very reasonable price for an eye cream. This isn’t tested on animals and is free from all chemical nasties which is fantastic. I have been using this now for roughly 4 weeks and whilst I can’t say I have noticed dramatic differences, I can definitely attest to the fact that it is incredibly soothing and puffiness has definitely been reduced. My dark circles still remain but I don’t think anything is shifting those bad boys…

If you are looking for a natural product which doesn’t break the bank, then this is definitely the eye cream for you. I’m almost finished mine and will definitely be picking another up very soon!
