Everyday Wear: Vila Lorna Jacket from Surfdome

Working from home means I need a fairly practical wardrobe – I may lounge around in casual stuff every now and again (in fact, this happens more often than not) but I also need smart attire for any potential lunch meetings with clients or other such occasions. When contacted by Surfdome and asked to pick an item to review, I knew I had to pick something that was suitable for all occasions – and this certainly is.

I picked this product; the Vila Lorna Jacket in black. This currently retails at £26.99 which is a great price for what you get. It is a blazer jacket and is suitable for any occasion – I wore this on holiday, out to lunch and on a general day to day basis and found it was the perfect item to throw on when I wanted to keep warm but not shove a huge coat on – the change in temperature can really throw me! I was originally going to take some pictures of me on holiday on the beach – however, wind and rain do not make for good pictures at all!

The blazer is quite soft to the touch and isn’t at all scratchy on the skin – something I do worry about as previous blazers I have owned have been. As I have mentioned before, I am a little self conscious about my weight right now (struggling to lose that baby weight) so this blazer is perfect loose and flowy or pulled across to hide tummies if required. I am very impressed with this blazer and am considering putting in an order for more Vila clothes when I have some spare cash – there is such a range of nice pieces which can be found on this page. Who says everyone works from home in their PJ’s?
