Back when I was pregnant with Jack, we bought a caravan. We owned it for a few years after he was born, using it as much as we possibly could before ultimately selling it on as we couldn’t get away often enough to justify keeping it, thanks to Steve’s job. With that having changed now, we have been discussing buying another caravan and have been looking around to see what is on offer. Instead of a static one, we’ve been considering a mobile one that we can take with us.

Bailey of Bristol have some wonderful looking caravans – they have some fantastic 2 berth ones in their Discovery, Unicorn Black Edition and Phoenix+ ranges. They have such a vast selection of caravans and motorhomes that you really are spoilt for choice.
Something that is swinging us towards the Bailey range is that the current ranges are built with Alu-Tech construction. As well as offering a variety of different sizes, it is great to see that the caravans are such good quality. So why else are we considering opting for a 2 berth from Bailey of Bristol?
They have 2 berth caravans
Whilst we do have a family and would generally opt for larger, this means we could go away together as a couple or Steve could take Jack away for a boys weekend golfing or fishing and stay in the caravan. However, the Discovery D4-2 and Unicorn Black Merida can both have optional awnings attached that would give us more room as a family of four. The D4-2 awning wraps around the side and back of the caravan for lots of extra space, and there is even the option to add a sleeping tent inside the awning as well. It provides such a lot of opportunity to step out of our comfort zones and do something new.

Their caravans are sleek and stunning in design
They look good from the outside and they look good inside too. The caravans available in each range have two parallel front soft seats that can be used either as two single beds or a large double.Depending on the layout you can also have an end washroom or an end kitchen configuration. They are very impressive to look at.
They care about their customers
Bailey of Bristol are now back to manufacturing after the events of this year created a great demand for people wanting to buy caravans. They are continually keeping customers updated through their News & Events page as well as giving some great tips and information on social distanced family fun.

They have a Virtual Showroom
It can be tough during times like this when you cannot do the normal thing and look around in person. Bailey of Bristol have come up with a solution to this with the Virtual Showroom which lets customers take a 360º tour of the caravans or motorhomes to look around without having to leave your own home.
They are great value for money
Something that often puts people off buying a caravan is the price but the 2 berth caravans at Bailey of Bristol are great value. Not only are they built with Alu-Tech construction meaning they have a good structural integrity and great thermal performance among other things but they also have good quality furnishings inside for the price.

With this in mind and the hope that we can travel more again in 2021, we may just be opting for a new caravan soon. Nothing quite beats a caravan holiday, when it’s safe to do so. Have you ever owned a caravan or been on a caravanning holiday?

Sounds amazing – and doggy friendly which is a plus.
We don’t have a caravan but have been talking about getting one as it is a great way to travel safely especially in the current climate. The 2 berth caravan looks perfect for our family of four
I haven’t been on a caravan holiday for many years since I was young. Reminds me of family holidays in Cornwall and in Wales.
I don’t have a caravan myself, but I can see these being popular with those who love caravanning!
Haven’t been caravanning in ages, it must be so handy having one that you can just take on the road and go to different places.
Oh my goodness – what an amazing space with the awning attached! I used to love caravan holidays when I was a child. Happy memories
We haven’t been in a caravan on holiday for so long . Really miss it , would love one like this
That looks like an amazing caravan and I love the fact that there is scope to add additional space.
It’s such a nice idea to be able to travel so much in the UK (or taking it to Europe), and I think this year has taught us that holidays like that can be much safer x
We used to go caravanning as a family when I was a child and I have lots of fond memories. I’d love to buy a caravan to explore the UK with my kids.
I would love to own a Caravan. I think they are great especially at the moment so you don’t have to stay in hotels and they are much more luxurious than they used to be too
We are seriously considering buying a caravan or camper; we love travelling around the UK and with two little boys, this kind of thing would be perfect for us!
We went on our first caravan holiday in 2019 to Wales. Ever since I have really considered buying one as I loved it
I would love to own a caravan and tour around the UK but we have nowhere to store it sadly
