We were gifted free entry to the park to participate in this event. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
We love Paradise Wildlife Park. We were blogger ambassadors for a year and have also been lucky enough to visit and check out the World of Dinosaurs since our ambassadorship ended. When offered the chance to visit the park after opening hours and check out the dinos in the dark, I just knew that it would be something Jack would love to do – and I wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to be one of the first people to try it!
We arranged childcare for Olivia so we could have some one on time with our first born and he really appreciated it. Travelling there was pretty easy – Broxbourne is just a short drive from us – and we arrived there early enough for Jack to go digging for dinosaurs in the sandpit.
The team came up to us and handed us our lanterns, ready to take a walk through the dinosaurs as day turned into dusk.
When we started, it was still fairly light but the light soon dimmed as it turned to dusk and then dark. The lanterns proved very useful!
The dino rangers walked us around the dinosaurs, telling us a little more about them. There were many we’d seen before but quite a few new ones that we hadn’t encountered before. The dino rangers were very informative, they really knew their stuff. The one thing that could be bettered – which we did bring up with the team whilst we were there – is that the dino rangers could have done with microphones as it was sometimes very hard to hear them, especially over the sounds of the dinosaurs.
The tour of the World of Dinosaurs after dark was great – we learned lots more about dinosaurs (and that is saying something when you have a dinosaur mad child like mine!) and we also got the chance to meet and greet with a dinosaur too!
How happy does Jack look? The tour took us all around the dinosaurs and it was lovely to see all the children having such a fantastic time.
After the tour was over, we got to enjoy a delicious buffet and even got the chance to meet some baby dinosaurs too before receiving a fantastic goodie bag!
The event was amazing and the team at Paradise Wildlife Park are hoping to make it a permanent fixture for visitors, with our feedback proving valuable to how the experience was and how they can make it better.
With Halloween fast approaching, we hope to be heading back to Paradise Wildlife Parks soon – we always have a fantastic time!

What a lovely idea, and how special to do this as day falls to dusk. I bet Jack loved it – he certainly looks like he did – and it’s good to know that the rangers really knew their stuff too. I’m sure this could be hugely popular. I know a lot of kids who would really like the chance to go.

This looks absolutely fantastic!! Just like Jurrasic Park (but without the real-life dinosaurs!! ) My son would love it.
What a fun place to visit with kids (big or small). I’m always amazed when I see replicas just how big (and scary) dinosaurs were. You definitely wouldn’t want to meet one of those in a dark alley. Those teeth! xx
We visited this too with the children and they loved it. Such a wonderful way to see the World of Dinosaurs in a new light (or darkness in this case)

This sounds like a wonderful place to visit especially if your kids are dinosaur fans. My nephews would be over the moon to be able to go there.

Seeing prehistoric animals come to life is really an amazing experience. Your pictures look great. They make me want to visit there with my kids.
Oh wow this looks like tons of fun for kids – my boys love Dinosaurs so being able to get up to these replicas is a great opportunity for kids
