This month’s theme was Festive & Gourmet – so what did we get in the box?
Jaffa Cakes Orange & Cranberry – £1.20
This is a festive take on a much-loved classic. These have such a delicious flavour and it’s a shame the pack is only 10 cakes as we could have eaten so many more!
Maille Dijon Original Mustard – £1.99
This is one of Steve’s favourite mustards so he was very happy to see this in the box. Made with finely crushed Brassica juncea seeds, it makes a great accompaniment to meals and tastes delicious! This is a staple in our household.
Wolf Blass Yellow Label Chardonnay & Cabernet Sauvignon – £2.25 each
Yellow Label has delivered exceptional quality for over 50 years with a range of wines from the finest South Australian regions but I hadn’t yet tried them. These are the perfect little size for trying out a new wine range and they are great!
Lindt LINDOR Treatbar (Orange/Mint) – 85p each
Who doesn’t love Lindt? These were such a lovely treat and didn’t last very long at all!
KIND Protein Double Dark Chocolate Nut – £1.99
KIND Caramel, Almond & Sea Salt – £1.30
Delicious and nutritious snacks, these are full of high quality ingredients and are packed full of fibre. Jack and Steve love snacking on these for that energy boost.
Clipper Tea Organic Advent Calendar – £4.99
How cool an idea is this? You can enjoy 24 delicious cups of tea – the box has lots of organic tea and infusion flavours to try in the lead up to Christmas. I don’t drink herbal tea that often so I am thinking I might pass this on to my nan.
KitKat Mini Pouch bag – £1
KitKat Santa Chocolate Bar – 65p
These were always going to go down well once my kids saw these! They are new and oh so tasty. The same delicious taste from a KitKat in a festive Santa shape – yum!
La Boulangere Plain Brioche Baguettes 4pk – £1.50
I love brioche and these soft and sweet baguettes are amazing. I’ve been enjoying them with various fillings for lunch. So good!
Pip’s Real Hot Chocolate Zero Trace Full – £1
Using cocoa that is ethically grown and traded along with unrefined Mauritian sugars, this hot chocolate contains none of the 14 major allergens which is amazing. I love a mug of hot chocolate in the winter and this was lovely.
Daelmans Stroopwafels Mini Caramel Stroopwafels – £1.30
We are a family who love Stroopwafels so this Dutch classic was always going to be well received. We have already finished these – they are so good and being mini makes them the perfect snack!
Zest Vegan Coriander & Basil Pesto – £2.20
I love pesto but I am the only one in the house who does so I can’t wait to enjoy this to myself! This pesto is vegan and plant based, gluten free and dairy free. I’ve tried a little already and it is divine!
We also received a voucher for a free Strings and Things Wintershapes worth £1,50! The kids will love these.
Overall, I really liked the variety of items in the box this month. We will use all of them or have used all of them except maybe the tea – and that just depends on my mood! In my opinion, it definitely erred more towards the gourmet side as I didn’t find anything that festive except the KitKat Santa’s and the Clipper Tea advent calendar though.
