Degustabox | June

I was sent the box for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It is that time of month again for my Degustabox review. This month, the theme of the box was ‘Summer & BBQ’. The box retails at £12.99 but you can get your first box for just £7.99 with shipping included. Just use this code WDGX9 on the website here (the code gets you a one time discount of £5).

So what did we get this month?

Kolibri Botanical Drinks (Cardamom & Chilli) – £3.75

These are award winning botanical infusions with very low sugar and all natural ingredients. Cardamom and chilli aren’t flavours I would usually choose but this is very interesting, to say the least.

Hellmann’s Chilli Mayonnaise – £1.99

I love mayo but Steve isn’t the biggest fan. This may just change his mind though! So packed full of flavour.

Lucozade Energy Watermelon & Strawberry Cooler – £1.20

I loved this, so flavourful and perfect for the summer. I do love Lucozade drinks!Hellmann’s Own Italian Dressing – £1.75

I love salads in the summer and love trying different type of dressings. This dressing has red wine vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.

DRGN Turmeric Superdrink – £1.85

Turmeric isn’t usually a flavour I’d think about. This has citrus, less sugar and natural ingredients. I wasn’t too keen on this however.

SavourSmiths Truffle & Rosemary Crisps – £1.50

Jack and I shared these and they were really tasty! I really enjoyed them and will definitely get them again if I can.

The Free From Kitchen Co. Free From Choc Bar & Salted Caramel Chocolate Slab – £1.50 (choc), £2.50 (salted)

These were actually quite enjoyable. They don’t taste quite the same as normal chocolate due to the lack of certain ingredients but they were pleasant enough.

TREK Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt Protein Nut Bars – £2.50

These are packed with 10g of plant based protein, have less than 5g of sugar and are high in fibre. These protein nut bars are a great snack.

Mavericks Healthier Snacks For Kids (Super Strawb Smart Cookies & Moon Cheese Poppin Corn) – 75p each

These were delicious! A great snack and my kids really enjoyed them.

Garbanzo Snacks (Bombay Twist, Thai Sweet Chilli and Tomato Salsa) – £2.29 each

What tasty snacks! I would never have thought to try these but they are very flavourful, gluten free with no artificial additives or preservatives. They are healthy too and so delicious.

Rowntree’s Randoms Sharing Bag – £1.29

Randoms will always go down a treat in my house, they are one of our favourite sweet treats. These didn’t last very long and we really enjoyed them! Of course we will be buying them again.

We quite enjoyed this box, trying some things with different flavours we probably wouldn’t have tried before. With the box costing £12.99, the contents come to over £20 which is a great deal.

  2. I love the sound of the Hellmann’s Chilli Mayonnaise! I’ve not come across that before.
The watermelon and strawberry Lucozade sounds delicious too.

  3. These boxes are always nice as you get to try things you would never normally think of, you can’t go wrong with rowntrees randoms though x

  4. I have never had one of these boxes, but I have tried the Mavericks snacks before and they are okay for kids. It looks like a wide range of food in there for different people too.
