Degustabox | December 2023

I was sent a Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Don’t forget you can get your first box here. Here are our thoughts on the December Degustabox.

There was no theme to this month’s box. So what did we think of it?

Maggi Chicken Flavour Instant Noodles – £2

We love noodles in our house – a quick and easy snack or meal. Olivia has a whole stash of chicken noodles in the cupboard that she is quickly going through so she will enjoy these and so will I!

Alpen Delight Bars – 59p each

I’m always looking for interesting new snacks for Steve’s lunches. He loves a bar of something in with his lunch so we were happy to see these included as they are not so naughty alternative to a chocolate bar. These only have 92 calories per bar and are quite nice!

Tony’s Chocolonley Littl’ Bits Milk Caramel Sea Salt Biscuit – £3

These are so delicious and a lovely addition to the Tony’s range! These are lovely and moreish and we will certainly be picking more up!

Get More Vits Summer Fruits Multivitamin Squash – £2.50

My kids drink a lot of squash so I am always looking for healthier alternatives. These contain 20% fruit juice, no added sugar and 50% of your daily dose of vitamins, including vitamin D. The kids both quite like it although Olivia finds it a little weaker than her usual squash.

Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Chocolate Mocha flavour granola – £3

Steve loves Crunchy Nut and loves granola but isn’t a big mocha flavour fan. He is yet to try these as he’s been working his way through some other granolas however I will also give it a try, I’m intrigued at just how intense the mocha flavour is.

Knorr Beef Gravy Pot – £2.25

Knorr seem to be a consistent brand in the Degustabox boxes but I am not complaining, I always use them up! We use a lot of gravy so this is always going to be a popular addition in our house!

Heinz French Onion Soup – £1.70 each

These are the Product of the Month and it easy to see why! New to the range, this French Onion soup is absolutely delicious and tastes just as good as Steve’s homemade version! It has no artificial colours or preservatives, is low in fat, low in sugar and vegetarian. Perfect for a lunch or a light dinner.

Dr Will’s Sweet Mango Sriracha – £3.50

We have tried a few different Dr Will’s products right now and enjoyed them. This has plenty of flavour and is all natural! The sauce has no added sugar and we will definitely be picking this up again!

Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine Sparkling Rose- £4

I have tried Eisberg alcohol free wine in the past and enjoyed it and have enjoyed this too. It is vegan and low in calories and super tasty. Plus it is incredibly affordable!

Overall, this was a very impressive box. We will use everything and the contents retail at over £20 which is great when you consider you are paying much, much less for the box.
