Degustabox | August 2016

I swear the months are going by quicker and quicker and the Degustabox boxes are arriving quicker and quicker – but maybe that’s just me. It barely seems like last months had arrived and then this one turned up!

Remember if you want to get a whopping £7 off your first box (making it just £5.99 with FREE delivery), just tap in the code BLDEG15 when ordering from the website. So what was in our box of surprises this month?

Tabasco Sweet & Sticky Barbecue Sauce & Marinade – £1.99

I don’t think Steve’s eyes could have lit up anymore at the inclusion of this. He is a big barbecue sauce/marinade fan and this will be used for a ton of things from the side of a meal to a main ingredient.

Clipper Lime & Ginger Green Tea – £1.59

I am really trying to drink more herbal teas and Clipper is one of the brands I always tend to opt for. I am loving this so far – it tastes great and the ginger is really handy for when I am having a nauseous day.

Aromatic Thai Noodles Nutripot – £2.49

I had this for lunch on the day the box arrived and I was pleasantly surprised. Normally I am not a fan of Thai noodles as I can sometimes find them overpowering but this was delicious, filled me up and is fairly healthy too with 50% of your daily vitamin and mineral needs.

Moroccan Couscous Nutripot – £2.49

I had this for lunch the day after as I am a big couscous fan. This is packed full of goodness and was extremely delicious.

Dorset Cereals Bircher Muesli – £3.49

Dorset Cereals are my treat cereal. I don’t have them very often but I really enjoy them when I do. This has been my breakfast of choice recently and it is super delicious.

Get More Multivitamins drink – £1.45

This drink was so tasty and refreshing, just what I needed on these hot days we’ve been having. Will definitely be picking up more of these.

Mahou Cinco Estrellas premium lager – £1.20

Steve hasn’t tried this yet (as I obviously can’t drink it!) but he’s excited to see what it tastes like.

Fentimans Sparkling Lime & Jasmine – unknown price

I normally like Fentimans but I must admit I wasn’t too keen on this flavour at all!

Oloves chilli & oregano natural green pitted olives – £1

Unfortunately no one in this house likes olives and neither do our immediate family so I will be taking these to the food bank for someone else to enjoy.

Geeta’s Curry Pastes – £1 each and Geeta’s mango chutney

We haven’t used these yet but can’t wait to – we love curry but I’m really struggling with curry in this pregnancy.

Willy Chase’s Fit Popcorn in apple cider vinegar flavour – £2.19

These are very tasty and didn’t last very long in our house, we all adored them!

Rakusen’s Gluten free crackers – £1.49 Plain £1.29

I’ve given my mum the gluten free ones as I do with all gluten free items – she seems to be enjoying them. I haven’t had many of the plain crackers as I don’t really get a look in as Jack has been snaffling them! They’re very moreish!

I was quite impressed this month! I liked the popcorn and crackers but we do seem to be having popcorn and crackers quite a lot. I loved the vast amount of drinks though – perfect for summer!
