I bought this little item a few months back now, not long after the craze for lip stains began. I had just a few pennies on me and wanted to see what all the hype was about, but couldn’t quite stretch to the Revlon or Clinique stains at the time, so chose this budget buy instead. This differs to the Revlon & Clinique stains quite a lot as they are balms and this is not – I’m not sure how to describe it. The packaging is cheap but inoffensive – it isn’t packaging that makes you go WOW but it is functional for what it is.
The pen applicator is interesting. I find the product to glide on quite easily and the colour dispenses and distributes quite quickly and evenly. It does feel as if you are drawing on your lips with an everyday pen the first time, however after continued use, you barely notice it.
Pout is very bright and intense. I generally tend to shy away from these kind of colours but when buying this, I was in one of my more daring moods. I’m determined to sport a red lip much more over 2013 and this product may just help me to do so.
As you can see, the colour is fairly intense – and this is after just one swipe all over the lips. You can imagine just how intense it will be if built up! I found the colour stays on all day and still leaves a slight tint even when the rest of the colour fades away.
The intensity of this shade is definitely a winner for me, the fact that it can be built up to an even more intense colour is also great – being able to choose your level of intensity is definitely something fab in a lip product. The only niggle I have is that once applied, my lips do seem very dry. I know that the lip stain dries on your lips almost straight away but for someone like me, who suffers quite a lot with dry and cracked lips, I do often feel a little anxious about how dry my lips feel. I have tried it once with a slight layer of lip balm underneath and it did make them feel a little better – I just wonder if other people have experienced the same?
I will definitely be trying out others in the range if this is anything to go by; the colour and intensity is spot on – as is the price! If they could just make them a little less drying, I’d probably snap them all up!
Have you tried any of the Collection Colour Pout Lasting Lip Stains?

I've never tried lip stains before, but after seeing how bright the color is I'll definitely check it out. Looks great!
Thank you x
dry lips is why I avoid anything on my lips apart from vaseline and super glossy lip gloss, I am super jealous of people that can pull of colour! xx
eek!
Is it available in the philippines??
I have no idea, I’m afraid.
