Choose The Perfect Gift This Valentines Day With LOVELOX Lockets | Review & Giveaway

We were sent this product for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

This brand only just launched the other day and is already becoming extremely popular. LOVELOX is a British jewellery brand who specialise in personalised lockets made by hand from precious metals and natural diamonds. Each locket can be personalised with two photos and an engraved message to make the locket truly sentimental and unique to the recipient.

The lockets are engraved in the UK, using a diamond tipped engraving arm to inscribe each letter as sharp as the last. They are assembled by hand and packed with love too. LOVELOX is a family company that traces its heritage to 1887 in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter – they have over 100 years experience with jewellery.

Now I love jewellery – especially lockets. My most important piece of jewellery (except for my engagement ring of course) is a locket my Dad gave me when I was a child. It no longer fits round my neck obviously but it is so so special to me and I’ve been wanting something similar as an adult for quite some time.

Step forward LOVELOX. If you are looking for a unique but beautiful gift for this Valentines Day, then look no further.

The locket comes packaged well in a luxurious white jewellery box packed within a cardboard box, adorned with a LOVELOX sticker. I love when brands take care of their presentation – it shows how much they care about the image their brand conveys and also how much they care about their customers.

I, of course, personalised my locket to be unique to me and the process is extremely easy on the website. Just pick whether you would like gold or sterling silver (I opted for sterling silver as I prefer it), then pick your locket of choice. I chose the Heart Personalised Silver Locket which retails at £60. From there, you can add your personalisations – I opted to add a personal message (my kid’s birth dates) and also choose from the three different fonts available. You can also adjust the size of your text to make it fit the locket better.

You can also add up to two photos into your locket too – the right one costing £9 and the left one costing £4 and I opted to get both of these. Finally you can choose the length of your chain – short which is 16-18 inches or full which is 20-22-24 inches. I myself prefer a longer chain anyway but since I’ve put on weight, I find shorter chains feel a little tight around my neck so I was very happy to see the full chain option.

But what did I think of the locket?

I’m very happy with my locket. It is not often that you can order a locket and get the photos with it too – it can be so stressful trying to get photos to fit a locket so I love that they offer this service. The photos are good quality and fit the locket perfectly which is great. The locket itself is fairly lightweight and I love the length of the chain – I can easily adjust it slightly if I did want to make it shorter too.

The heart is delicate and beautiful and the engraving is done so well. The text is just the right size – small enough to fit on the locket but big enough to see with the naked eye.

Overall I am very impressed with the locket – the quality is second to none. The jewellery part itself is beautiful, the engraving extremely well done and the photos clear and good quality too. I love personalised items and can see this being a gift that is much appreciated. This would be a wonderful gift for the one you love this Valentines Day – if I didn’t already own one, I’d love to receive one!

Now how would you like the chance to win one yourself? For your chance of winning a heart locket just like mine, just enter via the Gleam widget below. This giveaway is UK only and ends at 23.59pm on the 19th of February 2021! Good luck!
