I was sent a bouquet of Valentines Day flowers for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Who doesn’t love receiving a bunch of flowers? I know I love it – and Steve and the kids often surprise me when I am least expecting them! However there are certain times of the year when the gift of flowers seems inevitable and Valentines Day is one of them!
Prestige Flowers have a wonderful range of Valentines Day flowers available on their site right now and they very kindly sent me a bouquet to review.
I was kindly sent one of their bouquets of Valentines Roses – the 12 red roses – and I was very happy to see them. They arrived in the standard Prestige Flowers box, complete with flower food and paperwork – as expected. They also came with a free 48g box of handmade chocolate truffles – which didn’t last long, let me tell you!
The 12 red roses bouquet retails at £69.99 but are currently selling for £32.99 and are available for next day delivery. Every bouquet has splashes of gypsophilia, fragrant eucalyptus and a palm leaf frame to complement the roses and the long lasting Rhodos rose comes with an average head size of 5cm measured from based to the head of the top.
Now I don’t know about you but red roses epitomise Valentines Day to me and it is little wonder why they are such a popular choice. Red roses are so beautiful and are so striking to look at with their vibrant red colour. They make an impact in any room that they’re in and provide a real talking point!
The bouquet I received arrived well packed and undamaged and the flowers looked amazing. They were all fully alive and totally vibrant and the only maintenance I did was to clip the stems down a little for the vase and to give them their plant food and water. I’ve had them for over a week now and they are only just starting to show signs of dying which I think is quite a good innings.
With the company offering next day delivery, you’d be forgiven for worrying if the flowers would last until Valentines Day if buying earlier but these definitely should, based on my bouquet. To get the best bunch of flowers for the day, order a day or two before – avoid the Valentines Day rush but don’t risk having them for too long before gifting them!
Whether at a distance or close-up, these Valentines roses are super impressive and they’re stunning too. I would be very happy to receive these for Valentines Day as would anyone!
