Tired out after a long day
Today has been a nice & relaxing Bank Holiday for once, seeing family and friends. Steve got in from his night shift at 7am and retired to bed and myself and Jack slept in until 9. The morning was spent playing and tidying until lunchtime when we went to meet my friend Kirsty at the pub for a drink – it was her birthday on Saturday and due to Jack being unwell at the time and Steve being at work, there was no way I could go and see her. We stuck to soft drinks but it was great to catch up with her. We then went home, Jack had a nap and Steve got up.
After Jack woke, we went round to Steve’s parents. We haven’t seen them since last week when Steve’s dad was in hospital after an operation due to Steve’s strange work hours so Jack was more than a little excited to see his grandparents – especially when he realised they had bought him a new toy! He spent the afternoon chasing Marley the dog around the house, running about and playing with his new toy. We quickly popped into Sainsbury’s to pick up some essentials and Jack loved chatting away to everyone he saw! Such a chatterbox, even to strangers!
I’ve literally just put him down to bed, he just would not let me put him to bed – the excitement of this Bank Holiday has obviously been to much for him! I’m utterly exhausted!

Jack sounds like he is taking after you a lot lol. It won't be long before he will be on Twitter himself, or YouTube with his own show lol.
