A Fun Festive Gift Idea | Bradfords Gift Hamper

We were sent the Bradfords gift hamper for inclusion in our gift guide but we wanted to share it in it’s own post with a full review.

I don’t know about you but I love hampers. Whether they’re food, drink or beauty, there is something so indulgent and lovely about a hamper and I couldn’t wait to share this fabulous arrival from Bradfords with you.

Who are Bradfords?

Bradfords was founded in 1924 by Mr Hugh Bradford with his sons, Hugh and William, within small bakery premises in Niddrie Road in the south side of Glasgow. The business was transferred to Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow during the 1930s where it remained under the partnership of this sons with one large, busy shop until 1969.

Between 1969 and 2013, the premises moved a few more times until unfortunately in 2013, the retail shops had to close due to the recession – fortunately enough however they have been able to continue as a online business serving their customers.

Bradfords Bakers is still a family owned and operated business with Helen Bradford and her daughter Claire Bradford supported by their remarkable and skilled bakery staff who still to this day make traditional hand crafted products passed down since 1924!

What do they sell?

They sell a variety of items including hampers and gift baskets. With everyday hampers or special occasion hampers, you really are spoiled for choice. There are also gifts for special occasions such as birthdays or Halloween, balloons, donuts, wine gifts, champagne and whisky or you can even do a corporate order if you so wish! The choice is yours.

Where can you buy one of their hampers?

You can buy one of their hampers here but can take a look at their full range of items here.

What did I think?

Upon receiving the Bradfords gift hamper, I was super excited to see all of the yummy goodness included. I often find that hampers can leave a lot to be desired – there’s always a few items in a hamper that won’t be eaten but there’s something for everyone in this hamper. From soup to preserves to chocolates to toffees, there’s something for the savoury tooth and the sweet tooth here. The chocolate box and the Baileys truffles went down a treat whilst the biscuits were popular with the whole family.

I’ve already taken a look at the other hampers in the range as it is looking increasingly likely we won’t be seeing certain family members at Christmas time this year. With that in mind, I want to order them hampers to replicate what we would usually take to them!

A hamper is always a great gift in my eyes. Do you ever gift hampers?
