Although I am not attending the fashion show of St Albans Fashion Week due to lack of funds, I did take a trip into town yesterday to meet up with some other lovely bloggers Shona, Hannah and Sarah
for lunch and some shopping. Unfortunately, a lot of the launch events got cancelled due to the weather and Shona & Hannah actually missed the launch due to their bus being late! However, we still went for lunch and had a great time catching up with each other.

I also took the opportunity to wear my new Shawl Collar Cardigan from Damart. I was sent this a few weeks back and you all know how much I love cosy knits! I hadn’t had an opportunity to take any pics with it on – mainly because I’m useless as taking pictures of myself plus Steve has been working non stop this month! I don’t think Jack would be able to take it 😉 Luckily Shona stepped in!
I love how comfy it feels – I quite like it buttoned up but wanted to show you what I was wearing underneath – my trusty M&S dress! I was told by Shona that I had to wear it, so I did!
It was so nice to spend a few hours with some friends – I didn’t know if I’d be able to because of the weather plus I was waiting for money to come into my bank account! Luckily, everything sorted itself out although this does mean I am back to being frugal for the foreseeable future!
