Well it sure has been a little whilst since I did a 30 before 30 update so let’s see how we have got on since I last checked in with you all. A quick side note..I actually believed a murder mystery dinner to be on my list but apparently its not – well I have checked it off my list and you can actually read all about it this evening hopefully!
1. Finish writing my novel and hopefully get it published. If not, I plan on self publishing. This hasn’t happened yet but I started thinking about it again recently – going to start working on it properly once Jack is at school full time.
2. Hopefully have another child or two. Will have to rely on nature for this one! Nope, not yet.
3. Finish reading through my entire Agatha Christie collection. I have had some for almost 13 years, oops. I’ve read a few more but nowhere near completing.
4. Finally get round to meeting Sarah. It will happen, people! Whoops, this still hasn’t happened.
5. Buy a house. This means a lot of work and a lot of saving. Yes, this isn’t getting anywhere fast.
6. Completely clear any debt we have. Except for the mortgage if we buy a house. I’m dramatically cutting it down but not cleared yet.
7. Finish re reading all of the Point Horror books. Hoping to complete this but not yet.
8. Get married. Because, you know, we’ve been engaged a while now. Not happening yet!
9. Visit Greenway, Agatha Christie’s home in Devon. I am still planning to do this when I can.
10. Make plans to go on the Orient Express. Perhaps this could tie in with a wedding, it would be a lovely honeymoon! Hasn’t happened yet but I’m hopeful!
11. Visit Highgate Cemetery. It really intrigues me. Still really want to do this.
12. Watch our complete DVD collection. We’ve got lots of DVD’s and quite a few haven’t yet been watched… Nowhere near finishing this.
13. Watch Dexter from beginning to end. I never watched it all the way through but I really want to. ERM..NOPE. 1 episode in still.
14. Finally finish watching Desperate Housewives all of the way through. I’m currently stuck in the middle of season 2. Still stuck in the middle of series 2.
15. Actually do something with my Youtube channel. I’ve made 3 videos so far but still not quite brave enough to be on camera. Done a few videos but not much.
16. Visit the Harry Potter studios. I have no excuse, it isn’t as if they are that far from where I live. I really need to do this!
17. Go and see The Mousetrap, a play by Agatha Christie. I really need to get this one ticked off – perhaps for my birthday?
18. Go to a book festival. Because I love all the books. I managed this one! I visited a book festival and a talk when I went to Paris with Travel Supermarket.
19. See Derren Brown. Really want to do this soon!
20. Ride in a hot air balloon. Still need to do this!
21. Watch every single film on a top 100 list – probably IMDB’s. Hasn’t happened yet but I’ve ticked a few off.
22. See the Northern Lights Another must do but still yet to happen!
23. Go for afternoon tea with my Mum or best friend (or both!) Read all about in in a post coming soon!
24. Write an article for a magazine or newspaper Still need to do this although I have been getting more of my work published.
25. Host a dinner party Yep, this hasn’t happened.
26. Attend at least 5 gigs. Not sure if this one will happen.
27. Visit the British Library Still need to do this!
28. Start looking into my family tree again Have had a brief look but that’s it.
29. Go to see a musical in the West End Really need to do this!
30. Learn something new. Whether it is a new language or how to sew.. just something new. Nothing yet!!

So since the last update, I have ticked off one thing …whoops. I’ve also ticked something off that I was sure was on the list but apparently wasn’t.. oops!
