25 before 25: 6-10

It has been a long time coming but finally here is part 2 of my 25 before 25 series (read the first post here).

6. Visit my friends further north. It seems the majority of my blog friends live in Birmingham, Lichfield, Stafford or the surrounding areas. Add into that the fact that Steve’s best friend lives up there too and this means we really have to visit everyone at some point this year.

7. Get back into writing fiction and poetry. I haven’t really knuckled down and written anything in a long while. I do have some of my old poetry saved onto my computer but I haven’t written anything worthwhile in years. I would like to dedicate some time to it this year. Reading Steph’s poetry (link) has been inspiring me a lot lately.

8. Watch Dexter from beginning to end. I know the last episode is apparently rubbish but I’ve recently been given some of the Dexter novels and it reminded me just how much I loved Dexter when I watched it. I never watched every episode in a series however, so I am determined to put that right this year.

9. Make a video for one of my blogs. Okay..so this one may be getting crossed off soon enough as I am doing a bookshelf tour for Hanging On Every Word at some point in the near future – but I felt it had to go on the list anyway!

10. Visit the Harry Potter studios. They are five minutes up the road for me – yet I still haven’t gone! What is up with that?

What do you want to do before your next birthday?

  1. A great list so far! I also agree with the going on the Orient Express, that's something I really want to do with my mum for her 50th birthday!
I've also done the 25 things before 25 post which you can find here

I ticked off visiting the Harry Potter Studios, honestly the best day ever! I didn't start watching Dexter until after the last episode premièred, I managed to get through the whole seasons in 2 months, thank you free months trial from Netflix!
