When it comes to mascara, the best I have ever found for volume is Benefit They’re Real – a mascara that is a real bone of contention within the beauty community – some love it, some hate it. I personally love it – so when a mascara offers me volume, I keep my fingers crossed it matches up to the Benefit standards.
The mascara comes packaged in a simple black tube with the brand name in silver around the cap and the product name in red on the bottom half. I don’t really think Sexy Pulp is a suitable or even appealing name for a mascara but it isn’t the name that is important, it is how the product works.
Whilst Sexy Pulp didn’t give me as much volume as Benefit’s more expensive offering, the mascara certainly did give my otherwise limp, lifeless lashes some much needed volume. It has become my most reached for everyday mascara – with Benefit being sidelined for special occasions – this may not provide the volume of my favourite mascara but it definitely gives enough oomph for me to use it everyday.
