Work Makeup Picks

Todays very quick post is all about my work makeup picks. I never really do these posts – I just never think to, no real reason! However, whilst doing my makeup for work this morning, I thought I’d take a picture of the items I’m reaching for right now. Only 9 days until I’m officially unemployed!!

I recently won the limited edition Real Techniques Duo Fiber Collection brushes from the lovely Cas at Serenity of Beauty and I love, love, LOVE them. Definitely my go to brushes and I keep these 3 with me at all times. I applied my Collection Primed and Ready Smoothing Makeup Primer first – I first tried this when I won it just before the launch of the whole Collection name and have not had to repurchase it since, as I got two tubes in my goodie bag from the London BB Meet in April too! I use this along with other primers, often switching them around but this is my favourite and I always find myself going back to it.

I then applied my Rojukiss Spot Light BB Cream (review here). Whilst this isn’t my favourite BB cream and sometimes applies a little roughly, I have fallen back in love with it and have put aside my beloved Ginvera for another day. I then dotted some of my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer just in the places where I needed a little more coverage, namely under my eyes. 

Next came my MUA Professional Eye Primer – long story short, I am not that impressed but it’ll have to do until I pick another up. On my eyes, I only used the one colour as I was pushed for time and that was the Stila eyeshadow in Eden  – a gorgeous red/pink tone. I used my sample size Clinique High Impact mascara on my lashes ( I may cry when I run out of this…) before applying some of my NARS Orgasm blush and a slick of the No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in Delicate Pink (review to come soon). This added just that little pop of colour to make me look at least half decent!
