Why We’d Love To Go Back to Disneyland Paris

Collaborative Post

Back in February, you may remember we headed to Disneyland Paris for a few days and had a wonderful time. The place made such an impression on Olivia that she has asked multiple times a day since if we can go back. She keeps talking about her favourite rides and which ones she’s really not keen on going back on if we do go back.

What we have considered though is not staying in the park this time around. We forked out for a special holiday and stayed in the Newport Bay Club but we did say we would stay elsewhere if we went back, probably in Paris itself so Steve and the kids could explore the city. I adore the city, it is so beautiful, and I’d love to introduce them to it. However this would mean visiting Disneyland for the day as we aren’t going to visit Paris and not go there! You can buy really affordable Disneyland tickets online- choosing how many days you want to visit for, if you need transport, all those things you’d probably never thought about!

But why would we go back?

To See More Of The Parks

Even though we were there for a good few days, we definitely didn’t manage to get everything done in time and we’d love the opportunity to change that.

To Meet More Of The Characters

Steve took Olivia to meet many of the characters whilst I took Jack on the rides she was too small for. She met Jessie from Toy Story, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and Goofy and we also had some professional photos taken with Mickey Mouse. Whilst we saw the parades, it would be lovely to get the chance to meet more of the characters.

To Do A Character Breakfast

We booked a character breakfast for our previous stay and it unfortunately got cancelled the night before – it was such a shame and I must admit we were a little infuriated at just how late notice it was. I’d love to give Olivia this experience as it looks absolutely magical.

It Was A Wonderful Time As A Family

We’ve been on many family holidays, especially in the past year or so, both in the UK and abroad, but this holiday felt different somehow. Perhaps it was because we all had a comment interest in Disney, Marvel, Star Wars etc – I don’t know – but it really felt like we connected more as a family during this holiday. It would be nice to experience that again. If you’ve got a toddler, Rachel has some great ideas of things to do with toddlers at Disneyland Paris.

Overall, it was such a magical experience and something I would recommend any parent do if they can – you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to head back one day!

  1. Can I come with you next time please? I would totally love to go myself, I know I’ll never make it to America, but Paris I could do that right? I love Disney! LOL

  2. You will be able to go back there, maybe not this year, but the next. It must have been such a wonderful experience.

  3. I cannot wait to get back there, hopefully later this year. After all the too-ing and frowing we have had with the travel company, it would be nice to just get there and get on those rides x

  4. Ah this brings back memories!

Remember coming here when I was much younger. The fireworks display and the castle lit up was the highlight for me, along with meeting Mickey!

    Fond memories indeed!

We have not been to Paris yet. If we do get the opportunity, we’d love to visit Disneyland Paris. That would be such a wonderful and memorable experience for my family!
