If you are anything like me, then you will have probably been watching a lot of TV during lockdown. I thought I’d share with you what we’ve been watching recently. Let me know in the comments below what shows you’ve been watching.
We always tend to watch a lot of Netflix anyway so we’ve continued on with and finished both That 70’s Show and How I Met Your Mother. We tend to put a comedy on in the evening that we have seen before so if we fall asleep, it doesn’t matter too much. We’re still working our way through season 2 of Sex Education and recently enjoyed The Stranger. I’ve also been watching Death in Paradise on there when the kids are playing together elsewhere in the house or in bed and Steve’s either at work or in the games room.
We recently got Virgin installed so I’ve been watching all of my favourite murder mystery programmes on there too – more Death in Paradise, Father Brown, Midsomer Murders, Poirot and more. I also marathoned both series of London Kills on BBC IPlayer.
We’ve also been watching a lot of Friends and the other programmes that are on Comedy Central, I’m not going to lie.
I tend to stick to Virgin and Netflix but I have also been watching the odd few things on Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube. I’ve started a few different true crime documentaries on Prime Video. We’ve been watching quite a few films such as Beauty and the Beast, 101 Dalmatians and others on Disney+ and we’ve been taking part in Jimmy Carr’s lockdown quiz on YouTube. We’ve also been searching for other quiz channels on YouTube and taking part in their quizzes too.
I’m always looking for new shows and films to watch! What ones would you recommend?
I don’t have virgin, sky or netflix but we’ve been enjoying some lightweight films on Prime as well as some Scifi series. Some excapist stories definitely take my mind off things at the moment.
Oo I’ve been in need of a new series/set of programmes to watch, so thank you 🙂 I think the next one we’ll watch will be London Kills!
London Kills sounds really interesting. Think it would be great to watch at night time. Guess I know what I’ll be doing tonight
I did not know Jimmy Carr is doing a lockdown quiz, we love watching his quiz shows on the tv. We have been watch a lot of Netflix and New Amsterdam has just returned we love
I love The Witcher on Netflix, A Discovery of Witches on Amazon Prime and we have been enjoying both Picard and Star Trek Discovery too.
I’m thinking of getting Netflix and I’ve been looking for inspiration on what to watch so I’ll bear these ideas in mind 🙂
Netflix and Disney+ have been fab and a great escapism in the evenings during the UK lockdown. There’s so much to watch these days.
Disney+ has been wonderful, couldn’t recommend it more! My boyfriend and I are working our way through the Marvel movies and thoroughly enjoying them.
I have started watching Chesapeake Shores on Netflix, its one from Hallmark channel and I love those! Easy to watch with no stress
We are watching See at the moment on Apple TV and it is brilliant – very GOT
Now we have not watched father brown in years, I loved that show, so will be giving that a go for sure. thanks for the reminder xx
I don’t have Netflix I have Amazon prime can watch this I my kindle fire . Nothing much on tv so I buy dvds online to watch can get some good bargains on ebay
Have been binging a lot on Netflix, the Tiger King documentary is hilarious! Will have to give London Kills a go as it sounds interesting!
I have Netflix and Disney plus and have been watching them a lot. Have also been binge watching Eastenders
We’ve just finished the Tiger King on Netflix after giving into peer pressure to see what all the fuss was about. A fascinating documentary that makes you think about how different things are in the world.
