I mentioned in last weeks diary that I was not expecting much in the way of weight loss this week. I had an awful week of eating due to a variety of reasons and a complete lack of exercise due to others and was anticipating stepping on those scales with maybe not a massive gain but a gain nonetheless.
After the brilliant week the week before where I had eaten so well, I was disappointed to only lose half a pound and with everything going on, I really struggled last week to get myself back on track. I vowed that no matter what the gain was I would take it on the chin and get back to basics after weigh in.
So how did I do?
Yep that’s right! Somehow I still lost! I’m amazed but it does make me think – how much could I have lost if I hadn’t had such an awful week? I’m not holding out high hopes for next Monday’s weigh in as I’ve been feeling quite ill most of the week and haven’t been able to exercise. I have been trying to stay on plan eating wise so here’s hoping that helps! Fingers crossed I will see another loss on the scales and get back to where I was before I hit my rut. Wish me luck!

Well done for losing 0.5 lbs despite having a bad week. I’ve put on weight in the past year and I really have to start doing something about it…
I need to get on with it and try and lose some weight for the summer. well done at least it is going down x
Can I do like a little happy dance for you hehe! Go you! x
Well done for still losing! I’ll keep my fingers crossed you have another loss this week too
Half a pound is still half a pound lighter, keep up the great work.
I tell you what, half a pound is a lot if you weigh it out on the scales! Keep going x
I hate it when I want to work towards getting fitter and then I get ill so all I want to do is lie in bed with ice cream and netflix :’) Losing half a pound is great though! Little bits at a time is the best way 🙂
That is great results! I hope you celebrated a bit too and weren’t too hard on yourself. x
That is just incredible, hun. Truly inspiring. I need to get a leaf out of your book and focus on my weightloss more than I am inclined to.
