  1. Mango and passion fruit fanta?! I am missing out on something there!! Being a train geek I love the train letters too – that is so cute.

  2. Ok so that food looks amazing, all of it, feed me please? and that name train, Georgia, Alfie and Harry got them for Christmas last year 🙂

Week In Pictures

I apologise in advance as the majority of these pictures are food based – Steve has made a few wonderful meals this week!
Garlic chicken and mixed veg with mashed potato and peas – Steve made this the other night for us and a friend! I adored it – as a major garlic fan, why wouldn’t I? However, our friend found the garlic flavour a bit too strong for his tastes.
I blogged about my Tasty Little Numbers win in my Project 365 post here. For low calorie food, although it doesn’t look all too appetising, it is actually lovely! The first pot I tried was the sausage and beans pictured above.
I then tried the Chilli Con Carne pot. Again, doesn’t look too appetising, does it? It turned out to be one of the best chillis I have ever had! I didn’t take a picture of the Chicken Tikka Masala pot as I thought you’d be bored of the Tasty Little Numbers food by now!
I’ve been pretty good with my diet and fitness recently, if you don’t count the calzone and pizza this week, nor the McDonalds this evening! I’ve signed up to My Fitness Pal to help keep on top of the calories I’m eating, and to make sure I’m eating enough – but not over my daily amount. You can also input what exercise you do too. At the weight I am now, if I continue to do the exercise I’m doing and eat the food I’m eating (discounting the McDonalds of course), I’m on track to lose 7.5 pounds by March the 10th! Wish me luck!
Our canvas from Bounty finally arrived after a few emails to ask where it had got to! Apparently it wasn’t on the original order form, yet we’d been charged for it? In what world can that occur? Surely it would have to be on the original form for them to take the payment for it? Anyway, we received it this week and it now takes pride of place in our living room. Money well spent 🙂
Half a meatball calzone and half a cheesy calzone – the meatball one is divine! Steve & I originally bought the meatball one for him, and the cheese one for me, but we both decided we wanted to try the others, so split them both in half! Yum. As always, I have to include a dollop of ketchup.
I received a bottle of alcohol-free wine through the post this week to review on here. As a breastfeeding mum on a health kick, this couldn’t have come at a better time, as I’ve been wanting to enjoy a tipple without any guilt. I shall be enjoying a glass of this at some time this afternoon with Steve and a friend – look forward to a review coming soon!
Sticky Pork pizza and a whole mature cheese and red onion garlic flatbread – I’m such a pig! One of my more unhealthy dinners this week, but super tasty nonetheless.
Definitely going to be doing a Project Bathroom asap. Since I last took a picture, more and more products have appeared on there! It’s bad, I know! Jack also seems to be developing a little collection of his own – the amount of baby shampoos, baby bath and other products that we’ve amassed is unreal!
My meal last night – sweet chilli chicken with rice. We were going to have noodles but we looked in our cupboard and realised they were out of date by about a week – eek! This was possibly my favourite meal of the week 🙂
Have you done a week in pictures post? I’d love to see it!

Week In Pictures

I’m still amidst piles of baby clothes, boxes and rubbish bags as I struggle to get everything unpacked! Yet again, stuff is still at my parents – lucky I don’t have to rush to get them, isn’t it? Amongst all my possessions, I have found plenty of unused makeup and unworn clothes – thinking about doing a blog sale, would anyone be up for that?
Until then though, here is an insight into my life this week:
Dominos Pizza//The yummy Full House pizza with Dominos with PLENTY of extras – Pepperoni Melt sub, Mozzarella Dippers & Cheesy Garlic Bread//Dogsitting for Steves parents on his Dad’s 60th birthday//Playing around with different apps on my phone//Watching WWE like the geek that I am – the Y2J thing was definitely one of the worst kept secrets in their history!
Cadbury Creme Egg Splats – had to have them after seeing them on someones Twitter pics – love them already. Have you tried them? // Mummy & Daddy buying yet more clothes for Jack //Trying out my Lush Bath Bomb at my parents house – lighting was extremely poor 🙁
I love seeing Week In Pictures posts, so I thought I’d start doing them again! If you’ve recently posted something similar, be sure to link me up, I’d love to see it!

    1. Thanks hun! It was in the back of my mind all week, to be honest. I kept seeing others post about their week in pictures, and I only ever seemed to take one or two pictures over the week – I decided for once, I was going to do it haha! xo

  1. daisychain says:

I really need those splats in my life.

  2. Aww a lovely selection of pics Bex! Hope the move is going/went okay! Haha I used to be a massive fan of WWF! That pizza looks divine as do the Splats. I took a pic of my Lush bath bomb too but the lighting was rubbish. I had the pink marshmallow one, was lovely! Hope you and your little family are doing well =)

    Jen xx

    1. We're doing fab, thanks hun! The pizza and splats were lush, and spent too much of my time watching wrestling aha 😉
The move went okay, thank you – still moving little things out of my parents house though! xo
