Treat Your Valentine To Some Flowers From Serenata

I don’t receive flowers too often – I did get an orchid for Valentines Day last year but I think that is the only time Steve has bought me anything remotely floral – so when given the opportunity to receive some flowers from Serenata, I could hardly say no, could I?

Just a couple of days later, I heard a knock at the door and I was handed over a box – a box that I found to contain the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. I am not the biggest rose fan in the world but there is just something about the flower in the run up to Valentines Day – perhaps it is a romanticised view that we all have of them but I find myself loving them more!

The main reason why I don’t have flowers or stuff like that in the home is that I am a nightmare at remembering to water them. I’m not kidding, I really do need some sort of alarm to remind me! That being said, I did remember with these as I placed them on the window sill in the kitchen – pretty hard for me to forget to water them right by the tap!

I was very impressed with the speed of delivery and especially the length of time the roses have stayed alive for – they are only just now starting to show signs of dying which, after almost two weeks is pretty good. All too often Steve and I get flowers for our mums which die almost straight away – so nearly 14 days is a great feat.

What I loved most about these is just how fantastic everything was. They were packed ever so carefully with instructions on how to prepare them for the vase (something I left for Steve – if he can’t buy me flowers, he can sure sort these out for me!). They also came with some food too which I thought was great. As mentioned above, these have lasted quite some time and only just starting to droop as shown in the pictures above – the larger picture taken 10 or so days ago compared to the two smaller taken yesterday.

If you are thinking about treating your Valentine to a bunch of roses this year, definitely consider Serenata. You won’t be disappointed!
