I’ve only been to France a couple of times and both times were either in or around the Paris area. I visited Paris itself on a press trip with a fellow blogger friend back in 2015 and I also visited Disneyland Paris with Steve and the kids in early 2020 before travel came to a standstill.
However you and I both know that France has so much more to offer and I would love to see it in more detail! There is plenty to see and do and I’d love the chance to visit once more. Here are three reasons why I would love to go back to France:
Take My Kids To Paris
The kids have been to Disneyland Paris but both of them are keen to visit the actual city of Paris. If you have ever heard of the TV show Miraculous, you will know that it is set in the French capital. The Eiffel Tower features prominently and both are keen to visit and go up it – especially once I showed them the pictures I have from my visit! They are both very jealous that I have been to Paris – especially because I went without them – and I’d love to take them round the places I visited and get them some macarons from Laduree!
I stayed in a wonderful little boutique hotel when I was there and there were many other hotels locally that looked amazing. I’d definitely consider using Ebooking – it is a great website for booking hotels online. They have thousands of hotels, homes and apartments to choose from in the city and you can filter it by star ratings or other filter types such as hotels that offer an included breakfast or whether there is free Wifi. It really is such a handy resource!
To See More Of The Country
As I mentioned above, I have only seen in and around the capital city. We did drive from Calais to Disneyland Paris but we didn’t stop so I didn’t see much except the buildings passing by as we drove past them. There are a few different places in France that I would love to visit including Brittany, Lyon, Cannes and Marseilles. France is such a beautiful country and it truly would be amazing to get to see a little more of it!
Visit The Vineyards
France is well known for being a producer of wine – it produces between 50 and 60 million hectolitres of it every single year! There are many luscious and beautiful vineyards across the country and I would love the opportunity to spend some time at one or two of them. There are so many fabulous wine regions including Alsace, Champagne and Provence. Have you visited any of them?
These are just a few of the reasons why I would love to go back to France. It truly is a wonderful country and there is so much to see and do. I feel like I have barely scratched the surface.
