Now that the festive season is rapidly approaching, everyone is starting to put together their outfits for the festive party season. I have a couple of events to attend and already know the basics of what I am wearing but I am in definite need of some glamorous new shoes for the season ahead. I recently decluttered and got rid of most of my shoes – either giving them away, selling them or throwing the tattered old ones in the bin.
I’ve had my eyes on these BT London Bekan Prune heels for a little while now. A quite dark purple, they sure are appropriate for the festive season and are sure to glam up any outfit I put on. I’m a big fan of black and this is likely to show in my outfits – I tend to go black in clothing and accessorise with plenty of colour. I don’t want to stick to what I know when it comes to footwear – although incredibly tempted by gorgeous black wedges – I want to venture out and make a little bit of a statement.
I haven’t really worn heels for quite some time now – working from home and looking after a toddler doesn’t really hold much time for going out, nor does it warrant walking around in heels. This means I am a little out of practice but who can resist the lure of new shoes, especially heels, at Christmas time?
I’ve compiled a wishlist of shoes I would like to wear for the festive season above – some are a little more colourful, others I had to slip in there as I am a big lover of keeping it simple. I’ve got a few things to attend as I mentioned above – a blogger Christmas meal and a posh meal out with Steve and my in laws are just two of the things I need to attend and this means I need to look the part.
No slumming it in my hoodie, trackie bottoms and Vans for me – this means making an effort.

I’ve got most of my outfit planned out – how about you?
