Snugg Ultra Thin iPhone 5 Case

Steve is the iPhone lover in the family and often grumbles when I buy myself yet another new case for my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. When offered an item to review from The Snugg, I thought it high time he got a new sturdy phone case and picked the Ultra Thin iPhone 5 case. I picked the colour black as Steve is very much a man of simplicity.

On first impressions, we did wonder how this would protect Steve’s phone as it didn’t look half as protective as cases he has had in the past. Steve has unwittingly put the case to the test a couple of times and actually, this case protects really well.

The black ridges on the side are quite nifty little things – they are the smallest amount above the phone but this stops the phone from smashing if it falls face down – the ridges hold the phone away from the ground – quite impressive really. The case is also supposed to be scratch resistant and so far, so good – even when Jack tries to attack the case with various different objects.

If we had one gripe, it would be that, as shown above, greasy toddler hands can get hold of it and leave greasy residue – of course, this can be easily cleaned up with a wipe but it is worth noting. All in all, we are quite impressed with the case – and I think Steve may even be thinking about seeing what other accessories they have to offer.

What kind of phone case do you have?
