I was recently asked if I would like to try the brand new snacking box on the scene, Nibboxx. They approached me from their Twitter account and I must admit I was intrigued to see what they had to offer. They are brand new and claim to offer premium tasty nutritionally balanced snack boxes tailored to customers’ needs. Now I hadn’t yet started Slimming World when I was contacted so hastily agreed but I had started when they turned up the day after joining so I obviously was concerned how the snacks would affect my weight loss.
I needn’t have worried – Nibboxx provided some fab nutritional snacks for me and they were so handy when I got a bit peckish as I was getting used to the Slimming World process. With the four snack boxes, they send you a little menu detailing what is in each snack box and the nutritional values – so handy if you are watching your weight but like to have a little snack. So what did they send me?
I was sent four fantastic boxes to try – honey covered banana chips, oaty bars, chilli and lime popcorn and chocolate covered almonds. Now I am a big fan of banana chips and these tasted absolutely divine, a hint of sweet without being too overpowering or unhealthy. Oat bars and flapjacks are one of my favourite things and I wasn’t disappointed by these, they were so moreish.
Of course, I had my ever willing taste testers ready to try everything out and Steve liked the banana chips (although he does quite like honey so I am not surprised) and Jack loved the oaty bars.
We are big fans of flavoured popcorn in this house and I really liked this chilli and lime flavoured popcorn. Steve wasn’t a fan and Jack didn’t try as we don’t usually let him have anything chilli flavoured. I wasn’t complaining though, more for me. None of us are big almond fans but we all love a bit of chocolate so we were intrigued to see how the chocolate covered almonds fared and I was pleasantly surprised. So yummy but I can only manage a few at a time, snacking responsibly I am!
I think Nibboxx are a worthwhile addition to the market with their fantastic snack boxes – I will definitely be subscribing!
