Friday can only mean one thing… Valentines Day! We don’t spend too much time or effort on Valentines Day as Steve’s birthday is three days before (it can get expensive!). If we do anything, it usually consists of a takeaway and a night in front of the telly, perhaps watching a film.
Steve is at work on Valentines Day this year and although I believe he is on days, he will be shattered when he gets in from work so he will probably have some dinner then go to bed before getting up early the next day! I may make something nice for dinner though and put a film on whilst we’re eating.
What are your plans for Valentines Day?
One of us usually cooks, or we get a takeaway, and watch a film together too. It does get expensive. I think it's how you are to one another in day to day life that is more important. The little things like my husband makes me a cup of tea when we wake up every morning. x
