Just before Christmas I was contacted by someone named Alex talking about their new business venture, ‘Serene Surprises’. Delivering monthly parcels or ‘boxes’ packed full of surprises, I was intrigued to see what made Serene Surprises stand out from the other monthly boxes out there.
Claiming to create a unique customer experience centred around relaxation and rejuvenation, I was keen to see if they could live up to my expectations. Not only do customers receive the box but they also receive a wealth of tips and support via their social media. For just £15 (plus P&P) per month, customers can expect to receive items such as organic skincare, aromatherapy oils, healthy snacks, beautiful homeware, organic candles and much much more. I was excited to see what my box would bring me!
The box was packaged incredibly beautifully and I was reluctant to tear open the tissue paper to see what products I had received…but of course I did! I could instantly tell that the box was worth the money as the two skincare items alone make up for the £15 at least and that’s without taking into account the other items. So what exactly did Serene Surprises send?
I don’t know about you but I could certainly do with some relaxation time and boy do I think I’ve struck gold with this box. Tea, chocolate, skincare..what more could a girl ask for? So what brands did I find in the box?
- Clipper Tea – I already knew they were an affiliated brand from checking out the Serene Surprises website and I was eager to try out this Sleep Easy tea to see if it helped me. Its definitely making a little difference!
- Organic Surge – I had never tried their skincare until I received this box but I had heard great things. I was sent the Deep Cleansing Face Mask and the Overnight Sensation night cream and I am thoroughly impressed.
- Green & Black’s Organic milk chocolate – Well what girl doesn’t like being gifted chocolate? As I am on Slimming World this has been the treat that keeps on giving as I only have one square at a time. So good and it puts me in a good mood!
- I also received a foot massager too!
What can I say? I am definitely impressed and will be asking Steve to purchase a box for me this month for my birthday. I love the idea behind the brand, focusing on providing a unique experience for their customers with natural and organic products designed to help us relax and rejuvenate. I’ve considered subscription boxes in the past but as I am very fussy with what I use I am always scared I will recive a lot of things which aren’t good for me… but I guess they can be used as gifts later during the year, right?
This subscription box looks great. I love the goodies that are in the box. I often do not sub to boxes as I often do not have a need for all their contents and hate wasting things.
