Scentsy: First Impressions

I was recently contacted by the lovely Lori, a Scentsy rep who was keen to tell me a little more about their products and a chance to review some of them. I’m not sure how much you all know about Scentsy itself, but it is a home based direct sales company, originally started in the USA. Recently, Scentsy have been focusing on by expanding nationally. At last count, there was less than 1000 Scentsy consultants in the UK, hopefully the numbers will increase over the coming months as people get the chance to find out a little more about their products.

This is just a quick post with my first impressions, as I have been able to try only some of these products – being back at work and with Jack, I barely find the time to even think – but I promise to have full reviews in the next few weeks.

Cinnamon Bear Scentsy Bar $5* – The one large item I haven’t got around to testing yet but oh my, does this smell amazing! Has Lori got me down to a T or what? I love strong cinnamon fragrances and this is definitely one of those! I can’t wait to try this out properly.

Satin Sheets Scentsy Circle $3* – This item quickly got snapped up by Steve for the car. It is quite a gentle scent, As the name suggests, it smells almost like a freshly made bed. This is currently making our car smell amazing – I would be interested to try others in the range!

Camu Camu Room Spray $8* – This was a much needed product! With a penchant for spicy food in our house plus an 11 month old baby, the house doesn’t always smell as pleasant as it should. We go through sprays like nobodys business so I was quite pleased to see this included. What can I say about the scent of this? I LOVE IT. It is quite strong but very sweet. The Camu Camu is a small riverside tree in the Amazon and this room spray smells just like how I would expect the Amazon to smell, if you understand what I mean. It is quite a fruity fragrance but oh so amazing. I can definitely see myself repurchasing this!

Lori also sent me a variety of sampler scents: Whiteout, Neverland, My Home, Mandarin Moon, Lotus Cove, Pixie, Luna, Quiver, Pumpkin Roll, Cinnamon Vanilla, Dominica and Snowberry – would you like to see reviews on any of these?
