Radox Kids | The New Range

Items sent for purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Jack is a sucker for items with characters on them. If it has Pokemon, Paw Patrol, superheroes, Star Wars or Frozen on it then he probably wants it. I was recently contacted to see if we would like to try out the new kids range from Radox, launched to make bath time fun for kids and parents.

This new range includes Bath & Body Wash, Shampoo & Conditioner and Hand Wash with Disney princesses from Frozen and Star Wars characters. Providing expert and gentle care for the skin, I was keen to try them out and I knew Jack would be if he found out about the characters on them! As expected, Jack was very excited when they arrived!

We were sent a variety of the products to try out – two Star Wars and one Frozen. The Star Wars Bath & Body Wash (£2.50) was described as extra gentle and soft with a soft apple scent, the Frozen handwash (£1.80) is antibacterial and refreshing and the Star Wars Shampoo (£2.50) was described as having a mild and caring formula, also with a soft apple scent. So what did we think?

First of all let me say how amazing they smell! The soft apple scent is strong and lingering enough to stick around for a while after washing hair and body but isn’t too overpowering or sickly sweet as some children’s bath products are. We are big fans of the Radox adult body washes in our household and love the scents for those so it is great to see them keeping to the same with the kids range – not too overpowering but just enough scent to linger a little.

Jack does have sensitive skin sometimes so we do have to be careful with what products we give him in case they irritate him but I am happy to report that the bath & body wash was exactly as claimed and was extra gentle on the skin. It lathers up well without being too much, the scent lingers and it leaves Jack clean as a whistle afterwards. The shampoo was also much the same – it washed out of his hair well, left a lingering scent and didn’t affect his sensitive scalp at all as is sometimes the worry when trying new products such as these.

Finally we come on to the handwash. Despite already having a handwash open in the bathroom, Jack wanted his own one to be opened for his own use. As a four year old boy, sometimes his hand washing skills can leave a lot to be desired and we have to make him do them again so we were hoping that this would encourage him to wash his hands more and in fact better. In the past few weeks we have definitely seen an improvement in his skills – he’s more keen to wash his hands now he has his own special hand wash and it actually seems to have finally clicked in his head that he needs to wash his hands properly with plenty of soap everytime they are dirty. It seems so simple but just choosing your child their own hand wash with one of their favourite characters on can really make the world of difference.

We have been very impressed with the Radox Kids range thus far and will definitely be picking up these products again. They are not only great for our household but they are also super affordable too – buying these aren’t going to break the bank.

Have you tried the range yet?
