Protecting Your Identity With Bullguard

You may have noticed recently that the blog has turned away from posting as much beauty content and instead focusing on parenting and lifestyle topics. This is because I find more joy in writing these posts and whilst beauty will still be featured on my blog, it won’t be seen as prominently as before.

Another reason is that my life has got so busy what with setting up recently as a freelance copywriter. I have been lucky to get plenty of work within my first few weeks and this means I have wanted to write content that is quick, easy and fresh. Seeing as I am spending most of my time online, I knew I needed to look at protecting myself against any form of identity theft or similar – in my day job, I am constantly dealing with personal and financial details let alone my accounts on various sites. This is where Bullguard step in.

This handy piece of kit, retailing at £34.95 for a years subscription, not only protects us adults financial and personal details but it also gives our children the freedom to enjoy Facebook without parents having to worry about the risks involved. Whilst Jack is nowhere near the age where he would be using the internet, I don’t have to worry about this right now but it is reassuring that there is software out there to help parents feel a little more relaxed when letting their children surf the net. Monitoring up to 3 Facebook accounts can certainly give parents peace of mind.

By far the most important part of this product right now was the identity protection. We live in a world where cyber crime happens every day and since I am constantly logging in and out of different sites including my bank accounts and Paypal plus I am always moving my money around my accounts – I need to know that my details are secure. Having Bullguard protecting me gives me peace of mind to go about my day as I usually would, knowing that they will protect me. The fact that they run off any device or operating system is another plus to me – in this day and age, it is unlikely people use just one form of technology in their house to access the internet and input personal details!

I am very impressed with Bullguard and will be recommending it to everyone I know who is looking for a product that goes the extra mile in protecting their details. I know I’ve found my firm favourite.

  1. just a shame there are so many people with malicious intents that we need these type of products

  2. Identity theft is one of the biggest problems we have to worry about. People still our identities, our childrens..It's crazy. We need all the help we can get.

  3. I wouldn't let my children on Facebook or Twitter or have e-mail anyway. It'll be something to think about when they go to secondary school though.
