Olivia has recently developed a love of reading. Ever since she started full time school, she has enjoyed bringing home her books and reading more at home too.
We were recently contacted to see if we’d like to find out more about Over The Rainbow.
Who Are Over The Rainbow?
Over The Rainbow are a company who sell children’s books and some other products. These are mostly for the age range of 3 to 10 years. It is a relatively small business and has some amazing exclusive products.
The company was started by Peter and Rachael. They had worked together for many years and then launched this new venture after planning it for 9 months. Based in Leicestershire, they are passionate about customer service and bringing the magic of children’s books.
What Did We Receive?
We were sent a couple of books from their range and a lovely Peppa Pig reversible travel pillow. The books we were sent were Knowledge Masters Wild Animals and the Fun To Learn Times Table Activity Book.
What Did We Think?
First of all, as her parent, I was very impressed with how well Over The Rainbow tailored our package towards Olivia’s age. She is still of the age where she really likes Peppa Pig but she is developing interests elsewhere and has a real thirst for learning.
She couldn’t wait to dive into the book about animals and find out more about them – we have been reading a page or two of the book at bedtime as she love finding out all about animals she didn’t know about before!
She also spent ages poring over the times table books. We have been told she is doing really well in Maths – especially with her times tables – so she has really enjoyed using the book. She doesn’t quite know all the answers but she has been having fun trying to work them out.
Both books are great – they are age appropriate and are books Olivia will continue to use over and over again.
She also really loved the reversible travel pillow. Not only is it fantastic as a pillow but it also can be reversed into a cuddly toy. Olivia hasn’t let it out of her site yet!
Overall, I have been very impressed with what Over The Rainbow have to offer. I love that they have items available for various age groups and that they have various categories. I can definitely see me picking up some more items from the site for the kid’s birthdays and Christmas!
Olivia was also very impressed and will be enjoying both of her books and her Peppa Pig pillow/toy for a long while yet.

Such a great selection of items. My kids loved puzzle and activity books when they were younger.
These sound like a fab company. I love buying books for myself and my kids and it’s great that this is tailored to your child’s age.
